The Community Matters series is a grassroots approach to supporting those who support the nation—the communities that feed America, build America, and protect America. This story highlight features White Buffalo Land Trust, a non-profit working to restore our ecosystem through agriculture at Jalama Canyon Ranch. Like many grasslands and oak woodlands, Jalama Canyon Ranch suffers from land degradation and species loss. But, this is where they see the greatest opportunity for impact. Their mission is to practice, promote, and develop systems of regenerative agriculture for local, regional, and global impact.
